On Windows operating systems, 4D automatically saves some information in the Event Viewer.

If the file 4DMSG.DLL is missing from the /Windows/System32/ folder, the messages in the Event Viewer are not detailed, only event number is present.

To correct this problem:

- Download the file from the 4D FTP site: ftp://ftp.4d.com/PRODUCTS/4D/Extensions/Windows/4dmsg.zip

- Unzip the zip file in the /Windows/System32/ folder (or equivalent depending on the version of Windows)
